The Space Between Labels is an original performance created by Native Voices, the nation’s premier Native American theater company, in response to the reimagined installation of LACMA's permanent collection in the David Geffen Galleries. With humor and wit, they will bring individual artworks to life, offering a fresh and thought-provoking way to engage with the collection. Written by Jennifer Bobiwash, Nikcoma Lee Mahkewa, Maddox Pennington, and DeLanna Studi.

Performed by Jennifer Bobiwash, Nikcoma Lee Mahkewa, Maddox Pennington, DeLanna Studi, Kholan Studi, and Audrey Lilyquist.

Portions of this program may include standing and walking through the galleries.

This program is part of Third Weekends at LACMA, a monthly line up of free and ticketed programs inspired by our collection and special exhibitions.
